History of Hummer H2

Work on the early Hummer H2 idea started in mid-1999 and was first divulged at the North American Universal Car expo on January 9, 2000. 

In 2001 and 2002, GM enabled writers to inspect and test drive the Hummer H2, which was still a work in progress at the time. 

The H2 was worked under decrease by General Engines at an exceptionally developed plant in Mishawaka, Indiana. The H2's last casing get together is comprised of 3 segments: The front uses an adjusted GM 2500-Arrangement utility casing, the midriff is all new, and the back segment utilizes an altered GM 1500-Arrangement outline which is overhauled for the 8,600-pound (3,900 kg) net vehicle weight. 

The H2 was named for the North American Truck of the Year grant for 2003. 

Hummer propelled an exceptional 2009 Dark Chrome Restricted Release variant. 

Bar Lobby dashing have won their class a few times in Hummer H3 and H2 in the Baja 1000.
